Okay, so I'm sure this has been asked before, but what's your favorite TV car? I know there are several shows (and there have been many others over the years) where cars still play a major part. I've got a couple favorites, myself.
First, there is of course the General Lee. I grew up on the Dukes of Hazzard, even though it was well into syndication by the time I was a kid. Even at four or five-years-old, I was engrossed into Dukes reruns every day. The General was my favorite character, obviously. In fact, it's still my dream car. If I ever won the lottery, my family and friends all know my first purchase would be a General Lee replica. I know the show itself can be kind of lame at times (the acting and story-lines are often far-fetched), but I can't help but love it since it was such a huge part of my childhood.
Second, I have recently fallen in love with the Impala on "Supernatural." The show itself is pretty good, although there are some cheesy moments since it is aired on The CW. But my God, the exhaust note on this Impy is dreamy.
In fact, that General Lee picture is my computer desktop right now.

'67 Impala > Every other TV car
It's help save the world multiple times, hauled around more demons than anything else on the road, and looks amazing.

The Supernatural Impala has a 502 big block.
A few of my favorites:
Not all of these shows are watchable by today's standards.

A short list of the "TV Cars" from my childhood:
General Lee
KITT
A-Team van
That strange car Cursor from Automan would draw (could turn 90 degree angles, pretty cool)
Mostly it was KITT and the General Lee. I was sad when the "new Knight Rider" shows used a Mustang, but they made it work, sort of.
Also was a fan of the Delorean Time Machine from BTTF but that's not TV I know.

What's not to love about that van? It's like an enclosed truck to haul, furniture, wood, kids, an crack team of commandos, etc. And since Mr. T drove it, I'm pretty sure everyone would forgive you if you called them 'fool'.

I think the car was kind of awesome but the show is a little too much cheesy combined with taking itself too seriously

i havnt watched it probably since it was on TV. I'm sure at this point i'd be a little disappointed

That is a viable answer to winning the lotto ever. I mean look at it, it's presence. Forget Lamborghini's or Ferrari's, I want the Barris Batmobile. The only thing that can make the car better, is if it was RWD. I have no idea if it is, but can you imagine taking that to a rally? A drag-strip? A parade? Instant best friends with everyone you meet.

I'd hate to pick a favorite with so many great ones I remember, like the General Lee, the Coyote from Hardcastle/McCormick, Batmobile, A-Team van, KITT, the semi in BJ And The Bear (I had no idea the connotations of that show's name when I was little kid...) and more. So, I'll go with one I've not seen on here yet, and is earliest/most formative for me. The earliest TV show car I remember and first piqued my interest in cars as Awesome Things was the kitted out Bronco on 240 Robert (photo of the model kit, from some fan page). I remember thinking the winch, brush guard, and rear jerry can/spare racks were the coolest things ever. What can I say, I was in about 1st grade at the time.
I looked it up, and I was apparently 6 or 7 when this show was on. I remember absolutely loving it. Probably the first after-dinner TV show I had any awareness of as a regular Must View. I think it even required special permission from Mom and Dad to stay up late to see it. Looking at a few descriptions now, I'm sure it was a terrible show. I've learned to never, ever go back and watch cherished childhood shows/cartoons. They almost never live up to the memory, and in many cases were truly awful productions.

I swear Kinja has be banned from linking to and uploading images... :(

I like KITT from the remake.
I also like the Bronco from Longmire.
